Well, it’s been a busy few months here at Rhual Dairy. We have improved cow comfort this winter by replacing some of our old cubicles with new cubicles and comfy mattress. The cows love them, so much so that they don’t want to get up in the morning. We also have a new helper on the farm. He is called Clifford and he is a small robotic slurry collector, he moves around the cow shed collecting all the cow poo. The cows love him as it keeps their shed cleaner and so do we, as it reduces our work load. We also decided to treat ourselves to a new farm entrance sign. The ewes lambed in November and it’s so lovely to see the lambs running around the field, it certainly makes you smile.
